Serbia may get the greatest solar park in the world by 2015. The park would be twice larger than the Californian solar park, which is currently the biggest in the world. Serbian Ministry for Spatial Planning signed an investment agreement with Luxembourg-based Securum Equity Partners. The company’s investments will provide for construction of solar panels on a surface area of 3,000 hectares in Serbian South. The investment is worth nearly USD 3 billion.
